Night Swim Predictions and Fantasy are free games from the Night Swim podcast. No real money changes hands. We collect only what the games need, we don’t sell it, and you can have it deleted at any time.
What we collect
- Your account. The email address or phone number you sign in with, or, if you use Google, the email on your Google account. We never see a Google password.
- Your handle. The name you pick for the leaderboard.
- Your picks and teams. Your predictions, winning-time guesses and Fantasy lineups.
- Email preferences. Whether you asked to hear about the next meet, and any launch list you joined (like Fantasy).
- Basic technical data. Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
What’s public
Your handle, your picks and your score appear on the leaderboard and on your player page once events lock, the same way a sports app shows a public league. Your email address and phone number are never shown to anyone.
How we use it
- To sign you in, save your picks and teams, and score the games.
- To send sign-in codes by email or text.
- To email you about new meets or launches, only if you asked to. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We don’t sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use ad trackers.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and short-lived ones while you’re signing in. Your browser may also save an unfinished Fantasy draft on your device. That’s it: no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who helps us run it
A few service providers handle data for us only to run the games: hosting, our database and sign-in, and sending emails and texts. If you use “Continue with Google”, Google confirms who you are.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and picks while you play, so past meets and leaderboards stay accurate. Delete your account and everything tied to it goes with it, right away.
Your choices
- Delete your account: sign in, open You, and tap Delete account. It removes your handle, picks, Fantasy teams and sign-in at once. Can’t sign in? Email support@nightswim.app.
- Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Get a copy of your data or correct it: email us.
Kids
The games aren’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. If it’s a big change, we’ll tell players by email.
